Spotlight

Spotlight School of Speech and Drama specialises in providing speech, drama and oral communication lessons to children and adults in the Manchester area, class locations include Sale, Stretford and Altrincham. We travel to pupil's homes across Cheshire for one to one private speech and drama lessons which are taught by dynamic speech and drama teachers who will motivate and inspire enthusiasm for performing. Professional actors are regularly invited to work as part of our teaching team.

Our company is not a franchise.  We provide a very personal teaching service which is tailored to suit individual needs.  All teaching staff are fully qualified and are CRB checked.

Professional Qualifications

With links to Thames Valley University and The London College of Music, pupils can take exams in speech and drama, oral communication and other performing arts subjects.

There are three step exams (1,2 & 3) after which candidates move onto graded exams which run through a progressive system of eight levels.  Graded exams generate motivation and reward achievement and the levels are recognised internationally.

In the UK, the LCM graded exams are accredited by Ofqual, DCELLS and CCEA at Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the National Qualifications Framework, and UCAS points are awarded for higher grades.  We also teach LAMDA syllabus too.
